You might be asking, “Why does he have a crummy WordPress blog instead of a fancy portfolio site?” Well, the answer is simple. I can update this blog from anywhere in the world, at any time, and from any device. That is the paradigm of today’s media. Fancy portfolio sites are fun and great examples of the people’s talents but remain only a snapshot of their work in that particular moment, when they mustered up enough energy to put it all together over a weekend or two. The blog allows me to keep my various social networks and potential employers informed of my creative meanderings with ease. Plus, it’s easy to view on any device, as opposed to many portfolio sites.

If you would like to see my old portfolio site, visit danielbrian.me. I hand-coded the entire thing in CSS.
